Season Three - now with moving pictures

Season three of the podcast is now underway, featuring more insights and conversations with professionals from the front-line of photography and filmmaking, as well as camera news and chat with prominent journalists and reviewers.

The big news is that this season of the podcast is available in full in video as well as audio.

Truth be known, we've recorded video for a while, but only published short-form video clips for social media. Now, with season three, every episode is also full-length in video. This means that, from time to time, we can include some extras for our viewers - images from feature interviews, or hands-on moments with new camera gear.

The in-person The Photography & Video Show takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from Friday 14th to Tuesday 17th March 2026. Tickets are available from The Photography & Video Show website.

I've known Michael Wharley for a while - in fact, he made some of my very first headshots when we were both stepping out on new career journeys - and was thrilled when he agreed to share his story on the September 2025 episode of the podcast.
